I have been wanting to flatten my belly. I had been hoping that I could find an easy weight loss diet program for women. Thankfully, one day someone mentioned about the Slim Belly Fix. Here’s my review as an actual user…
But before sharing my review with you, allow me to share with you my personal background as an over weight woman.
I did weigh 154 lbs. and with a belly measurement of 138″.
I have skinny arms and lower legs. I have no problem of slimming them since they are fine with me.
I have no problem with other parts of my body. It’s just my tummy that I hate to see when I put on my shirts and dresses — my belly bulges out farther than my bust. I always wore something loose to cover over it.
Other parts that I don’t like to see are my upper legs — they have cellulites. The cellulites are not really of a big concern for me because I don’t wear short pants or a bikini anyway .
And I hate to see this too—my face was very puffy.
Several times I called my brother in the Philippines. Every time he saw me on the video he advised me to lose some weight.
I just passed my CNA exam so I am getting ready to find a job. One day, to get my daughter’s opinion, I showed her of my outfits that I need to wear for the interview. After I put them on, she said that I need to lose some weight to bring down my belly. Since I will be in a health care field I need to have a healthy weight so that I can get hired.
One day, I was in my online group and the group leader mentioned about the Slim Belly Fix.

So now, here’s my Slim Belly Fix Review for weight loss for women.
I do have some concern before purchasing the program. I have food and chemical sensitivities. My allergist told me that I am very sensitive and I need to be careful. Every time I followed some diet for detox I always got allergies / hives. Then I could not finished the protocol.
And I also hate a regimen that has guidelines to eat plenty of meat. I am a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Christian. We, the SDAs, promote plant-based diet. I do eat meat but very little. We also adhere to Biblical diet (Kosher foods).
My family eats only meat when we go out and also when we order foods to go.
I hate to cook meat because I don’t want to touch the raw flesh and I hate the smell of it.
When I checked the Slim Belly Fix site, what gets my attention, the author had mentioned that she did this “thing”, and every day she found out that she was losing weight. She was surprised with the daily results.
I have also understood from reading her experience that she shared on her site that it’s also for women who are having trouble in losing their fat belly.
In my understanding also it doesn’t involve boring exercises.
The Slim Belly Fix site has also claimed that you can lose up to 10 pounds in 10 days.
For me, that seems so easy.
So, without hesitation, I bought the program.

Diet & Weight Loss Overview
The Slim Belly Fix Diet is a Bone Broth diet. I believe is a combination of Paleo / Keto diet.
The diet doesn’t include any supplements. So no supplements to buy—just whole foods, and protein powder for shake/smoothie.
The author, Keri, has included the following daily guidelines in her manual:
A. Bone Broth
I already told you that I hate to cook meat. I don’t want to make the bone broth, so I bought Dr.Axe’s Bone Broth Turmeric. Keri’s diet manual includes the recipe for bone broth.
You are doing intermittent fasting while you take the bone broth. Don’t worry about the word “fasting”. This is a short daily fast.
In the manual you are directed to take your bone broth in the morning. At lunchtime, break your fast and normally eat for the remaining part of the day — you eat 2 meals a day.
Whenever you feel hungry during the intermittent fasting Keri has suggested to drink tea or water or coffee. If you want to take tea there is a list of herbs for weight loss in Keri’s “Ultimate Slim Belly Guide to Medicinal Herbs and Spices.”
B. Meals
The diet manual also includes recipes for the meals. The meal components are protein and veggies / fruits. The veggies and fruits include salad and shake recipes. You need to buy a powder shake or beef protein powder.
The recipes are very tasty for me. The meals are so easy to prepare. The ingredients can be bought from your local groceries. A few items are available online and / or health food stores.
I don’t usually follow her recipes. At times, I just used whatever ingredients I have. But I did check if the ingredients I have are listed in Keri’s shopping lists.
The Recipes have 4 parts:
1. Protein
2. Fats: vegetables and fruits (salad and shakes)
3. Recipes to Your Slim Belly Forever Plan – (One-Meal Dish)
4. Bone Broth Recipes
Whenever you feel hungry (during your “eating window”—lunch to supper), Keri has suggestions on what food(s) to eat which you can find in her manual in page 42.
C. Exercise
Keri’s suggestions for exercises are: brisk walking, jog, mini-trampoline, treadmill, stationary bike, etc.
As I had mentioned before, you will find video demos of exercises in the members area. I didn’t do these exercises because they are hard for my back.
There are so many opinions out there with regards to the best time to exercise. Some would say do exercise before your meals, and some would say after the meals.
Keri will tell you EXACTLY in the manual when is the best time to exercise so that you will maximize the result of your weight loss. You don’t want to waste your time doing your exercise in the wrong time of the day.
I do walking or yoga exercises. For my yoga exercise I do the Yin Yoga for Low Back Pain because of my pain on my back.
My 10-Day Journey with Slim Belly Fix – Weight Loss Program for Women
I am going to share my daily journey with you as I followed Slim Belly Fix program: what I did every day and what I went through so that you will be aware and what to expect daily if you want to try this weight loss program for women.
I will also include my weight and measurements daily results.
Every day my exercise is either walking or yoga. As I mentioned earlier, yoga helps my back pain so I did it daily. Walking makes my back tight.
In my daily log, you might wonder why I only had a bone broth, supper, and berry shake (some nights) in my daily Slim Belly Fix journey. This is my lifestyle — I don’t eat 3 meals a day, but I love to graze.
And also, you might be wondering why I always had Berry Shake. Keri has other shakes in her recipes but they have ingredients that are stimulating for me.
I love blueberries. When I had Berry shake I substituted it with different ingredients. One night I might use spinach and almond milk; then the next night I might use kale and coconut milk.
The supper and Berry Shake were already making me full.
Day 1
This is my first day to start Slim Belly Fix Diet. It’s my first day to implement the regimen. I just started so I have no weight loss result yet that I can show you for today.
My first result of losing the pounds will be available on the 2nd day. So my final 10th result will be available on the 11 day as soon as I wake up.
To start, I took 3 capsules of Solaray Activated charcoal, 3 hours before I drank the bone broth. Keri never suggests the use of activated charcoal in her manual. But I took it fearing I might be getting allergies / hives. The charcoal helps me with my hives for most of the time.
I did feel hungry so I had peppermint tea with stevia.
Supper:
❧ organic baked chicken (left over from Thanksgiving)
❧ sauteed kale with red onion, Mrs. Dash (garlic blend), olive oil
❧ 1/2 cup cooked quinoa (quinoa and other grains, including gluten-free, are a no-no in Keri’s manual, I just started the diet today and I needed to learn more. Quinoa is allowed only when you reached your desired weight.)
I got hungry, I ate some food that Keri suggested in page 42 of her manual.
3 Hours after Supper:
❧ Berry Shake (page 61 in the manual), water, spinach, coconut oil, blueberry, plant-based protein powder shake (I didn’t have the collagen / vanilla beef protein that Keri recommended but I used the ALL-IN-ONE PLANT PROTEIN French Vanilla from Whole Foods.)
Tonight I got a call from my friend and I shared to him that I am following a weight loss program. I warned him that in a few days I will be feeling irritable.
He responded and asked me: “Do I need to stay away from you?”
I said: “No.”
Then he said: “Then, I will be one of your cheering squad!”
Day 2
Weight: 152 lbs. — I lost 2 lbs after my first day.
Waist measurement: 138″ No changes takes place. It seems discouraging.
After 2 hours since taking the bone broth I had a slight diarrhea.
I was getting hungry so I had a peppermint tea with stevia.
Supper:
❧ organic baked chicken (left over from Thanksgiving)
❧ Cucumber Mint Salad (page 56 in the manual). It’s very delicious.
I did get hungry, I nibbled some food that Keri suggested in her manual.
4 Hours After Supper:
❧ Berry Shake (page 61 in the manual), almond milk, coconut oil, kale, blueberry, plant-based protein powder shake. I had substituted few of the ingredients that are listed in the manual
Day 3
Weight: 150.6 lbs
Waist Measurement: 137 1/2″
I had bone broth.
Later, I was hungry so I had a peppermint tea with stevia.
From mid-day to afternoon I was so miserable for not being able to have a snack that I used to eat.
My friend sent me a picture of me. Then I texted him that I felt so irritable now for not being able to graze a snack.
He texted me back: “I am backing away with my eyes averted.”
I really had a good laugh from his response and my spirit was uplifted and I felt so much better that my irritability was vanished.
So I sent him an emoji of a karate cat with a caption that says: HIYAH!
If you wish to sign up for the Slim Belly Fix weight loss program make sure you enlist your friend(s) to cheer you up. It’s really exhilarating to have a support!
Keri does suggest to diet with a friend to give each other moral support.
Supper:
❧ baked/cooked Korean chicken (This night my kids ordered Korean foods. I rinsed the chicken to remove salt and sugar.)
❧ I sauteed the following: kale, broccoli and red onion, olive oil, Celtic salt.
I didn’t have a shake tonight. I still felt full.
Day 4
Weight: 149.6 lbs
Waist: 137 1/2″
I had a bone broth.
I had a very low energy and felt so shaky.
I took a nap and slept half day.
I had a headache — and I applied White flower oil on my temples and around my neck to relieve headache and tension.
I might be having a “carb flu” as Kari mentioned in her manual.
I was feeling so hungry today.
I had a peppermint tea with stevia.
Supper:
❧ 4 oz. cooked/ baked Korean chicken, rinsed and chopped, (left over chicken of the previous night), 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, seasoned with Mrs. Dash
❧ 2 cups of greens, 1 Tbs. avocado oil mayonnaise
I was so full from my supper.
1 hour after my supper I felt nauseated, feeling nervous and hot (radiator was on – we have no way of turning off in my daughter’s apartment). I opened the window for fresh air to come in. I also did an accupressure and I felt better.
I had a hard time of going to sleep.
Day 5
Weight: 148 lbs.
Waist Measurement: 137 1/4″
I had a hard time of going to sleep last night. I fell asleep in 5 a.m.
I felt so bloated today and I took Activated Charcoal to help the bloating.
I had shortness of breath and I opened the windows for fresh air.
I pressed the side — just below my sternum. I burped and I felt better.
I also did accupressure to feel better.
I took no bone broth today because I felt so full and bloated. My body felt so hot—I felt like I had a continuous hot flashes.
I drank lots of water.
In the afternoon I still felt so full.
I nibbled 7 frozen strawberries and it felt so refreshing to my tummy.
Supper:
❧ Berry Shake (page 61 in the manual), coconut milk, coconut oil, blueberry, plant-based protein powder shake french vanilla. I didn’t add any vegetable ingredient. I didn’t feel like eating a meal. So I only had a half-serving of the berry shake.
After having a shake, I had acid reflux. Probably, I didn’t need to have that shake.
I got allergies/hives today. The welts were not so thick as it used to be. My upper legs had reddish spots.
Day 6
Weight: 147.6 lbs. — I only lost less than half of a pound. Probably I didn’t have enough protein yesterday because I didn’t have bone broth, and no actual supper just a half serving of a shake.
Waist Measurement: 136 1/2″
The allergies / hives, reddish color of my skin, was getting better.
I took 3 Activated Charcoal capsules and my pulse rate was beating fast.
Bone Broth — When I was taking the bone broth, it felt like sharp needles poking on my hives.
I was feeling sleepy and weak. I took a nap and I felt energized when I woke up. I went for a walk. After walking for awhile I felt so weak and it was a struggle to get home. I had an hour for my walk today. I walked very slow to get home.
I finished the left over of my smoothie last night. I had no appetite to eat a meal. I just like to nibble frozen raspberries.
Supper:
❧ Chicken Wrap – wrap cooked/baked chicken, avocado oil mayonnaise, sliced tomatoes with romaine lettuce.
I had a very light supper. I chewed it thoroughly and mixed well with my saliva and it’s very refreshing to my tummy.
After the meal I was so sleepy and feeling like sick.
An hour after the supper I had a very slight diarrhea.
Day 7
Weight: 148.4 lbs. — I gained a little over a pound!
Waist Measurement: 136 1/2″
I took 3 Activated Charcoal capsules for my hives.
It made me feel weak when I felt my tummy was hollow.
Today my eldest daughter said, “Mom, your tummy looks really flat compared to how it looks before.”
I had my bone broth today.
Supper:
❧ Spicy Egg Salad (see page 75 in the manual). It’s very tasty.
Day 8
Weight: 147.6 lbs
Waist Measurement: 136″
I had my bone broth today.
Instead of peppermint tea I had homemade lemonade with stevia. The lemonade is not found in Keri’s manual. But her shopping list includes lemon, and also stevia.
An hour after drinking the lemonade I had a slight diarrhea.
Supper:
❧ Avocado Tuna Salad — (see page 69 in the manual). I love tuna. The salad is delicious also and very easy to make.
Some parts of my hives (on my bottom), the skin is somewhat thicker. It feels uncomfortable to sit. It’s hard for me to sit and to sleep.
I took 3 charcoal capsules at bedtime, but still I found it hard to sleep because of my hives.
Day 9
Weight: 147.4 lbs
Waist Measurement: 135 1/2″
I had my bone broth and also peppermint tea with stevia today.
Supper:
❧ Butter Lettuce with Avocado Salad — (see page 72 in the manual). It’s very delicious too.
4 Hours after my supper I had Berry Shake.
Tonight, I started to get my energy back—I vacuumed my daughter’s apartment!
Day 10
Weight: 147.4 lbs
Waist Measurement: 135 1/2″
My daughter said today that I look thinner.
Supper:
❧ organic rotisserie chicken (bought from Wholefoods)
❧ Cucumber Mint Salad
4 Hours After Supper:

Here’s my final result after the 10th day.
Weight: 147.2 lbs
Waist Measurement: 135 1/2″
Weight Loss Journey Observation
I have noticed on most of the days that I had protein from chicken and the walking exercise, it gave me good weight loss result on the next morning before I had my bone broth.
Keri says in her manual to eat plenty of lean proteins. Had I have eaten more chicken and walked everyday I would have possibly lost 10 pounds. I hate eating meat every day. Maybe twice a week is fine.
Shape.com has a list of top lean proteins (highest to the lowest protein content). See the list below:
1. White meat chicken
2. White meat turkey
3. Lean pork
4. Lean beef
5. Eggs and egg whites
6. Cod
7. Salmon
8. Oyster
9. Shrimp
10. Greek Yogurt and Icelandic Yogurt
11. Tofu and Tempeh
12. Beans, peas and lentils

Enjoying to See “Me” in the Mirror
Now, I enjoy to see myself in the mirror. I go to the mirror so often now in a day to see myself.
It feels so good to see that I have a flatter tummy and no longer wearing something loose to cover over the tummy that bulges out. My kids are so happy to see my tummy is flatter now. . . and I am very happy too!
I like to see my face in the mirror—my face is no longer puffy.
It feels so good! . . I love it! . .
Hope my Slim Belly Flex Review helps you in your search for weight loss for women.
